1. Who we are
Vinci is an AI-native task app operated from Delhi, India. This page is maintained by the Vinci team to explain, in plain language, how we handle your information. If anything here is unclear, email us at support@letsvinci.com.
2. What we collect
- Account info: your name, email, phone number, and city so we can contact you and route your tasks.
- Task details: the messages, addresses, and instructions you share when asking Vinci to do something.
- Location: approximate or precise location only when you enable it for a task that needs it.
- Device basics: anonymised usage data that helps us fix bugs and improve the product.
3. What we do with it
- Complete the tasks you ask for.
- Match you with the right verified partner nearby.
- Remember your preferences (favourite addresses, usual vendors) so you never have to repeat yourself.
- Send you task updates, receipts, and support messages.
- Detect fraud and keep the platform safe.
4. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your personal data. Full stop.
- We do not rent or share your data with advertisers.
- We do not read your task chats for advertising. Our AI reads them only to help complete your task.
5. Who sees your data
Only the people who need it to get your task done: the Vinci Partner assigned to your task (they see just what's needed to reach you and complete the run), our own support team, and trusted service providers who help us operate (hosting, messaging, payments). We require them to protect your data with the same care we do.
6. How long we keep it
We keep task details for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after that for legal, safety, and support reasons. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data any time by writing to support@letsvinci.com.
7. Your choices
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Turn location off in your device settings any time.
- Opt out of non-essential messages from within the app.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, restricted internal access, and regular reviews to keep your data safe. No system is perfect, so if something ever goes wrong we will tell you quickly and clearly.
9. Changes to this policy
If we update this page in a meaningful way, we'll flag it inside the app and update the date at the top. Continued use of Vinci after that means you're okay with the update.
