How it works
How it works questions.
- How does Vinci work?
- Three steps. First you describe the task in one chat message. Second, Vinci plans and matches, breaking the task into steps and finding the nearest verified partner at the lowest price. Third, the partner executes the task and you follow it live until it is done.
- Do I have to fill a form to book a task?
- No. You write the task the way you would say it to a friend. Vinci turns that sentence into a structured task with a location, a time and a price.
- Can I track the task while it happens?
- Yes. Task status updates in real time and you can see who is handling it and where they are.
- How long does a task take?
- It depends on the task and the distance. Vinci shows an estimate before you confirm, together with the locked price.
- Can I talk to a human?
- Yes. A real person answers on WhatsApp at +91 8595952113 or by email at support@letsvinci.com.
- What happens if a task cannot be completed?
- If a task cannot be completed, support reviews it with you and resolves it. You are never left with a charge for something that did not happen.
Pricing

- How much does Vinci cost?
- Every task is quoted upfront before it starts. Vinci checks routes and available partners and locks in the lowest price for that task. There are no surges and no charges added after the fact.
- What does lowest price mean at Vinci?
- It means the price you are quoted is the lowest Vinci can find for that task at that moment, and it is locked before the task begins.
- Does Vinci use surge pricing?
- No. Vinci does not use surge pricing. The quoted price is locked before the task starts.
- When do I pay for a task?
- You pay through the app once the task is complete. The price is locked before the task begins, so you always see the final number first.
- Are there hidden charges?
- No. The quoted price is the price. Vinci does not add commission, surge or unexplained charges after a task.
Zero commission

- What is Vinci's zero commission model?
- Zero commission means Vinci does not take a cut of what a partner earns on a task. Partners keep 100% of their earnings.
- Why does Vinci charge zero commission?
- Because commission is the main reason gig earnings shrink. Removing it makes the ecosystem fair for partners while customers still pay the lowest price.
- How does Vinci make money if partners keep 100%?
- Vinci earns from the platform side of a task rather than from a partner's earnings. Partner payouts are not reduced by a commission cut.
- Who are Vinci partners?
- Vinci Partners are verified riders and runners in your neighbourhood. They are ID checked, trained on how to handle common tasks, and rated after every task.
- How do I become a Vinci partner?
- Apply on the Vinci partners page. Onboarding includes ID verification, and once approved you can accept tasks with flexible hours and instant payouts.
- How are partners verified?
- Every partner completes ID verification before taking tasks, is trained on common task types, and carries a rating that customers see.
- Do partners get paid instantly?
- Yes. Approved partners receive instant payouts on completed tasks and keep 100% of their earnings.

- Vinci is piloting in Rohini Sector 24, Delhi, India. New areas open city by city.
- Is Vinci available in Delhi?
- Vinci operates in Delhi, currently as a pilot in Rohini Sector 24. Other parts of Delhi open progressively.
- Is Vinci available in Gurugram?
- Not yet. Vinci is piloting in Rohini Sector 24, Delhi. Gurugram is not live. Join the waitlist and Vinci will notify you when it launches near you.
- Is Vinci available outside India?
- No. Vinci operates only in India today, starting from Delhi.
- When will Vinci launch in my city?
- Vinci expands city by city from the Delhi pilot. Joining the waitlist with your city tells Vinci where demand is and gets you notified at launch.

- What kinds of tasks can Vinci do?
- Anything legal that happens outside your door. Vinci groups tasks into Daily Errands, Queue and Waiting, Mobility, Travel and Stay, Paperwork and Little Emergencies.
- Can Vinci book rides?
- Yes. Rides fall under Mobility, which covers bike taxi trips and vehicle help.
- Can Vinci deliver food?
- Yes. Food related errands and pickups fall under Daily Errands.
- Can Vinci deliver medicines?
- Yes. Pharmacy and medicine pickups fall under Daily Errands, including late night pharmacy runs under Little Emergencies. Prescription rules still apply.
- Can someone stand in a queue for me?
- Yes. Queue and Waiting is a core Vinci category. A verified partner holds your spot and you swap in only when it is your turn.
- Can Vinci handle RTO or government paperwork?
- Vinci partners handle the parts that do not need you in person, such as RTO document drop-offs, challan payments, society NOC submissions and notary or attestation runs. Anything needing your own biometrics or in-person signature still needs you.
- Can Vinci handle custom tasks?
- Yes. The categories are examples, not a limit. If the task is legal and doable in the real world, describe it and Vinci will plan and match it.
- Is Vinci limited to six categories?
- No. The six categories are how tasks are organised, not a boundary. Vinci's positioning is to get anything done outdoors.
- What can Vinci not do?
- Vinci does not do anything illegal, and it cannot do anything that legally requires you personally, such as your own biometrics or an in-person signature. Vinci can still book the appointment for those.

- Yes. Vinci is AI-native. AI reads the task you wrote in plain language, extracts intent, location and constraints, and turns it into a structured, priced, matchable task.
- Is Vinci an AI agent?
- Vinci uses AI agents for planning and matching, and real verified humans for execution. The AI does not perform the physical task.
- Which AI models power Vinci?
- Vinci uses Gemini for language understanding and task reasoning, and Groq for low latency inference in the chat experience.
- Does Vinci use Gemini?
- Yes. Gemini handles natural language understanding and task planning inside Vinci.
- Does Vinci use Groq?
- Yes. Groq serves latency sensitive inference so chat replies stay fast.
- What technology stack does Vinci use?
- React Native for the mobile apps, Rust for core backend services, PostgreSQL as the primary database, WebSockets for realtime updates, Gemini and Groq for AI, AWS and GCP for cloud infrastructure, and Odoo for internal operations.
- What is a natural language interface?
- A natural language interface lets you use software by writing or speaking normally instead of filling forms or menus. In Vinci, the entire task booking flow is a chat.
- Why did Vinci choose Rust?
- Task matching and pricing need predictable latency and memory safety under concurrent load, which is what Rust provides.
- Why does Vinci use WebSockets?
- Live task status, partner location and chat updates are pushed over WebSockets rather than polled, which keeps tracking accurate in real time.
